Peter has been part of the Miller brand since 1987 and is one of the founding partners of Miller Commercial's independence, gained in the management buy-out effective 1st October 1994. Peter's specialities include providing advice on property investment acquisitions and disposals. In addition Peter oversees the management department and advises on Asset Management issues for clients' property portfolios.
Mike joined Miller Commercial in 1995 having previously worked in London where he trained and qualified. He oversees the firm's agency activities and provides strategic advice to specific clients. He is also qualified in commercial arbitration and acts in an advisory capacity to our valuation and lease consultancy teams.
Brian is a Partner and a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors he is also a member of the Institute of Revenues, Rating and Valuation. He joined Miller Commercial as Head of Development in April 2003 from Chesterton Plc. Previously Brian headed up the property services department at Carrick District Council. Brian has been involved with the property profession for 30 years and now specialises in the assembly, acquisition and disposal of development sites. In addition he also undertakes valuation, rent review and lease renewal work.
Terry has been involved in the property profession for over 30 years. He joined Miller & Co in the late 1960s, he was a partner within this organisation and a director of Miller Countrywide Commercial prior to becoming a partner in Miller Commercial following a management buyout in 1994. In 2009 Terry's position changed to consultant, specialising in the leisure sector of the commercial property market and looking after certain requirements of specific clients.
Having previously owned his own practice in Sussex, and also working over the next 7 years for GVA Grimley managing the prestigious Berkeley Square Estate - the London Real Estate assets of the Abu Dhabi Royal Family, Nick joined Miller Commercial in 2009 and in May 2013 became an Associate. Nick’s expertise lies in both Commercial and Residential Management, Health & Safety and Business Development.
Mark joined Miller Commercial in December 2013 from the Langham Estate in London and prior to that worked in the management accounts department of international agents, Jones Lang LaSalle. Mark assists the Management Department in respect of general day-to-day administration of the management accounts.
Paul has extensive knowledge of the licensed & hospitality trade throughout the South West, having worked for national pub companies and independent licensees for more than 12 years. He has also substantial experience in the residential sector and now specialises in the leisure market including the self-catering and holiday cottage complex markets, together with the licensed sector.
After a career in the Royal Navy as a Marine Engineer Chris entered the construction industry where he gained a wealth of experience from site work to costing and managing building projects. Chris co-ordinates, oversees and project manages maintenance works for our clients’ portfolios, consisting of more than 400 commercial properties throughout Cornwall, Somerset and Devon. As Facilities Manager Chris is the first point of contact for any maintenance issues, be that reactive or planned. His role encompasses everything from changing a light bulb to overseeing complete property refurbishments.

Paul joined us in 2016 and brings extensive senior property management experience. Previously as Head of Operations for a nationally recognised industry leading property developer and provider, Paul led the delivery of property management services to a mixed portfolio of c10,000 commercial, leasehold and residential properties across the South West.
As a senior member of our property management team Paul’s role covers all aspects of commercial and residential property, estate and asset management. He is responsible for managing client-facing and internal support teams, client and stakeholder relationships, quality assurance, facilities and risk management; thereby maximising profitability and return from our clients property assets.
Position:Property Management Administrator
Having considerable administrative experience in the property sector in Cornwall spanning over ten years, Tracy has joined our busy property management team providing both clerical and administrative support in this very proactive, expanding and dynamic department.
Tracy’s role involves working closely with the team of three property management surveyors ensuring efficient management and delivery of all administrative and contractual duties relating to both client and tenants. In addition, she provides groundwork support to our Facilities Manager in order to deliver efficient maintenance and repair commitments for our valued clientele.

Position:Senior Commercial Agent
Laura has joined us from JLL in Bristol where she was working as an Investment Surveyor for over 6 years. She has previous occupational and investment experience within the South West region.
Position:Commercial Agency Surveyor
Thomas has more than ten years of experience in the local property market under his belt, advising clients in both residential sales and lettings as well as in the development and agricultural sectors. He became an Associate Member of the RICS in 2013, gaining a Diploma in Real Estate Agency. As part of our Commercial Agency Team, Thomas will be assisting with the letting, sale and acquisition of commercial property across the industrial, office and retail sectors.
Hannah joined our accounts team in 2014 having previously worked for Colliers International in their Ratings Department in Birmingham before moving to the South West and working for regional commercial property companies. Hannah assists Louise and Mark in respect of general day-to-day administration of the Property Management Department’s portfolio and credit control.

Beverly is a Commercial Surveyor with our Business Transfer Department. She has a strong financial background having been involved in commercial lending for business purchases in the South West for the past 15 years. Whilst her experience is primarily in the commercial sector, Beverly has also worked with large residential agencies in a management capacity.
Position:Head of Valuation Services
Andrew is our Head of Valuation Services and has been with Miller Commercial since 2007. He provides valuations for loan security, development funding, tax planning, expert witness, asset management and rating. A Registered Valuer under the RICS scheme he has more than 16 years of experience working in the property industry. Andrew has an in depth knowledge of the commercial property sector in Cornwall with a particular specialism in valuing going concerns. In addition to his valuation work Andrew also advises and negotiates on a variety of Rent Review and Lease Renewal matters.
Position:Senior Property Manager
Tim relocated to Cornwall from Essex in late Summer 2015, having most recently worked in Jones Lang LaSalle’s Property & Asset Management Team in Canary Wharf. Prior to that he spent over 12 years as Property Operations Manager with Network Rail during which time he managed a commercial property portfolio with a rent roll in excess of £3m per annum delivering front end property management services to a diverse range of tenants and properties.
Position:Head of Accounts
Louise joined Miller Commercial in October 2006 having previously been an accountant for 15 years with Orbit Housing Association at their Coventry Head Office. Louise is responsible for property management accounts and the department’s computer accounts system and database.
Position:Senior Valuation Surveyor
Susanna graduated in 2004 and undertook her graduate training with King Sturge LLP in Bath. She qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2006 and initially worked as a retail agent before working for the valuation department. More recently Susanna headed up the Commercial Department at Dafydd Hardy Chartered Surveyors in North Wales.
She has recently relocated back to her home county of Cornwall with her young family to join our Professional Team at Miller Commercial, where her role covers carrying out lease renewals, rent reviews and valuation across all types of Commercial Properties across Devon and Cornwall. She is also an RICS Registered Valuer.
As Practice Manager, June's role is to assist the Partners in the management of areas including Human Resources, IT, Office Administration, Premises Management, Health and Safety, Marketing and Practice Development.
Robert recently graduated from Reading with a BSc in Real Estate and has previously spent 5 months in Sri Lanka as an intern at Shakticola Developers, Knight Frank Investment Management, Cording Real Estate and Oxygen Asset Management. He will be based in our Commercial Agency team whilst developing his knowledge and experience of all aspects of commercial property.

Thomas has joined Miller Commercial from BNP Paribas Real Estate where he was a director in their City Office Agency team. During his 9 years at BNP Paribas Real Estate, Thomas specialised in advising funds, developers and private landlords on their property portfolios as well as working closely with numerous blue chip and corporate occupiers advising them on their lease liabilities and their office relocations throughout Central London.
Thomas brings his experience of dealing with the large institutions and funds to his role of Head of Commercial Agency as we continue to expand our presence in the South West.

Graham has been active in the Cornish property market since 1999 and joined Miller Commercial in 2003. Graham is a specialist in the sale and acquisition of licensed premises, as well as leisure businesses.
