Professional

Collectively, our team benefits from formal qualifications and ongoing training from the leading professional body, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.  We have regular contact with the county's major firms of lawyers, accountants and lending institutions, and are able to provide professional advice to our broad base of clients on all matters related to our areas of activity.

We carry out property valuation work throughout the county.  These are mostly for loan security purposes on behalf of the major lending institutions and we are included on the Valuation Panels of the major banks.  However, we are also asked to give advice for many other purposes including accounting, probate, capital gains, tax and partnership splits.  We also advise clients who wish to have Open Market Rental Valuations for leasehold/rating purposes.

When providing advice on rental levels our surveyors are also skilled in acting for both landlords and tenants on Rent Reviews and Lease Renewals.  These are specialised areas of work where our expertise can often result in a better landlord and tenant relationship to the benefit of all parties.  In the event of the landlord and tenant relationship breaking down, our surveyors can act for either party, or as an expert for both, in resolving disputes on all matters, be they disrepair, boundaries or breaches of any other covenant.
