Miller Commercial was formed in 1994 as a private partnership following a management buyout from Hambro Countrywide who had originally taken over the practice of Miller & Co in 1990. The partnership is completely independent and is the largest firm of chartered surveyors within the County of Cornwall.

The practice operates from offices at Mansion House in the centre of the city of Truro. The building is mid-18th century and is Grade 1 listed.

The company includes 5 principal departments, and increased in early 2007 to include Building Surveying.
