The modern, attractive premises were well presented, and provided a successful bar restaurant in an open plan setting. The accommodation offered space for 40 covers, with additional seating at the splendid bar area. The business was made available with the remainder of a 10 year term lease, commencing February 2001, at a passing rental of £27,500 per annum. Blue South had traded as a bar restaurant for some 5 years and demonstrated strong trading figures. Miller Commercial experienced a high level of interest in the successful business, which was eventually sold to Mr & Mrs Pruen, who are private local purchasers. Russell Weetch, Head of Hotels, Licensed and Leisure at Miller Commercial reports, ‘Our agency have many applicants still seeking catering and licensed businesses during a period of strong demand across the whole of Cornwall. Over recent months we have concluded sales on Goldies at St Agnes, Cosi Café in Penzance, The Boslowick Inn in Falmouth, the Robartes Arms in Illogan, and Trelawney Restaurant in Camborne’. |
