The business enjoyed a prominent position over looking the regenerated area of the town known as The Moor. It was well presented and deceptively spacious offering 24 covers on the ground floor as well as 18 further covers on the first floor. The cafe also benefitted from an internet room for the use of young people and students from the local university college. The business was sold with the residue of a 12-year, full repairing and insuring lease, commencing July 2004, with 3-yearly rent reviews, at a current passing rent of £18,500. The Q Bar was sold close to the advertised guide price of £75,000. Gareth Moody, Commercial Surveyor at Miller Commercial comments, ’The new occupier, who has experience in the trade, comes from outside of the county and will be looking to build on its current trading success whilst also expanding the business and introducing new elements such as a new cocktail menu’.
