Miller Commercial of Truro have recently completed the sale of Revival Restaurant & Bar, which is located overlooking the harbour in the late Georgian clay port of Charlestown, Nr St Austell, Cornwall.

The attractively appointed licensed 40-cover restaurant enjoys a prominent trading position in this most interesting village, which has been the backdrop to many a film and TV series. The restaurant is contained within historic premises, which commenced life as a cooperage. It offered 84sq.m. and retained such period features as stone walls and open beamed ceilings. The southern wall opened to lead to a popular open-air terraced area, which provided a further 38 covers.

Revival Restaurant was made available by assignment of the existing

10 year lease, commencing September 2003.

The business had been operating for 4 summer seasons and was able to show substantial turnover and an excellent level of profitability. Revival Restaurant was being offered as a going concern and has been sold to a local operator.

Offers were invited for the leasehold interest off a guide price of £115,000 SAV. The sale price was not disclosed.
