This well established licensed catering outlet was centrally located just off the popular harbour resort’s main pedestrian thoroughfare. The premises were presented in good order and offered covers for 16 diners, in addition to its’ takeaway counter. The cafe was made available with the residue of the existing 10 year lease, commencing in April 2002, at a current passing rental of £6,750 per annum exclusive. The Clipper Cafe, which trades successfully throughout the year, was sold off a guide price of £39,950. The new owner, Nicola Willis, has moved down from Cambridgeshire. Richard Gilbert of Miller Commercial’s Business Transfer Dept reports, ‘Demand for catering establishments throughout the county continues to remain strong, especially in coastal locations. Currently there are a number of applicants on our extensive database at Miller Commercial who are actively seeking catering businesses’.
