Another high specification industrial unit has been snapped up on M-Space's Indian Queens Trading Estate in Mid Cornwall. The premises offered a gross area of 2,426 sq ft. which included warehouse space of 1,840 sq ft with substantial internal height, along with two floors of modern office accommodation.

We can report the recent completion of the sub-letting of the retail premises formally known as 19 Church Street in the centre of Falmouth. The property is on two floors and offered a ground floor retail area of 27.3 sq m as part of accommodation totalling 41.4 sq m. It was made available off an asking rental of £17,000 p.a.

Fat Fish Cafe on Wharf Road at Penzance has recently been sold to a local businessman off a Guide Price of £99,950. The actual sale price was not disclosed. The very successful fish and chip takeaway and café has been established for circa 30 years and occupies a tremendous trading position opposite the large main car park in the harbour resort Penzance and is also close to the railway terminus.

The former Drill Hall on Chapel Street, St Ives has been brought to life by Pete Eddy, a local businessman, who purchased the hall in 2004. Over the past year, the building has been sympathetically restored to provide 7 new premises for businesses to develop in the very popular beach resort.

Two lettings have recently concluded on Commercial Park, Wilson Way, Redruth. The premises, which were previously occupied by The Furniture Factory, became vacant last year and have been sub-divided in order to create versatile letting accommodation.

Unit 12 Dunveth Business Park, Wadebridge has just been let on behalf of our retained client, Titan (South West) Limited. The unit become available in June and provided 3,077 sq ft of industrial workshop space, which included a small office and wc facility.

We have recently seen the completion of the letting of office premises located on Tabernacle Street in Truro's city centre. The ground floor premises were recently refurbished and offered a net internal area of 331 sq ft of accommodation, which comprised two cellular offices, kitchen and disabled wc facilities. A single car parking space was also included.

We have recently completed the letting of 1st floor offices situated within Westcountry House in Victoria Square, close to the Walker Lines Industrial Estate in the key Mid-Cornwall town of Bodmin. The Scope Complex at Wills Road, Totnes which comprises 11 industrial units ranging from 750 sq ft to 1,500 sq ft, 8 office suites ranging from 325 sq ft and various container accommodation has recently been purchased by Courtwave Limited, one of our many retained clients. Together we have had great success with Courtwave's other project, St Austell Bay Business Park, Cornwall and are looking to continue this success at the Scope Complex.

The retail unit was well located close to such 'High St' names as Halifax and Carphone Warehouse. We have successfully concluded the sale of Goldcrest Office Supplies, which is a long established stationery business situated in Causewayhead in the centre of the harbour resort of Penzance. The double fronted premises offered a ground floor retail sales area of 72 sq m and were located prominently in the shopping precinct area of the town.

We have recently let a refurbished office suite located on Stanley Way, in the heart of the Cardrew Industrial Estate at Redruth. Acting on behalf of Cornwall Council, we have recently sold St Just Town Hall, near Land's End in the far west of Cornwall. The substantial character building was constructed of indigenous local stone under a slate roof. Arranged over two floors, it offered a net internal area of circa 4,750sq.ft. and was marketed at a guide price of £200,000.

The prominent new development known as Falcon House enjoys an elevated position on the corner of Charles Street and Calenick Street in the centre of the Truro. It provides circa 22,000sq.ft. on four floors, with secure on-site car parking, a superb reception area and lifts to all floors. The building is of high quality, designed for the modern occupier and has now been let having originally come to the market two years ago.

We are pleased to announce the recent completion of the letting of part of the Duckworths Car Spares building to a relocating business trading as Scoobybits, who are motor engineers specialising on Subaru cars together with another part of the premises to Dub Bits, who are more general car engineers.

Established for very many years, The Feast in Kenwyn Street has now changed hands and has just been acquired by Matt Bradwell and his fiancé Jenny. The business, which occupied two floors, was able to offer a maximum of 51 covers from within the ground floor and an attractive rear courtyard.
