Newquay Meadery Reduced Price

The successful restaurant business, Newquay Meadery, located in the centre of Newquay, one of the UK's most popular holiday destinations is now available for sale off a revised leasehold guide price of £75,000 plus stock at valuation.

Newquay Meadery occupies substantial licensed premises at the foot of Marcus Hill, just off the resort's main thoroughfare. Extending to circa 1900 sq ft it offers a medieval dining atmosphere, with provision for 80 covers on the ground floor, and a 1st floor function area providing a further 40 covers. There is a bar servery area and a well equipped modern kitchen. The option also exists to lease a new 2nd floor, 2-bedroom apartment at a rental of £3,000 per annum.

The restaurant is being made available on a new, full repairing and insuring lease, for a 15 year term at an asking rental of £20,000 per annum, exclusive of the apartment.

The Newquay Meadery has traded successfully for many years and is only now coming to the market because of the vendor's other business interests. Trading figures to the year ended March 2008 show sales turnover of circa £242,000, with good profitability.
