Former Newquay Bus Station

Acting on behalf of private clients, we have recently taken instructions to market a potential development site, situated on East Street in the centre of the Cornish resort of Newquay. The site comprises a former bus station and hotel on which Planning Permission was previously obtained for a mixed use retail and residential scheme comprising 28 dwellings and circa 12,000 sq ft of retail space, albeit this Permission has now lapsed. Unconditional offers are being invited off a guide price of £650,000.
J
on Ball comments, "this site is of great significance and interest to the local community, having stood vacant for a number years. The location, in the centre of this popular, is resort a short distance from the main retailing area of the town, whilst also benefitting from superb views over Newquay Bay. This means the potential for redevelopment is huge. We are sure that this potential, combined with public concern and desire to see the site put to good use, should mean that interest will be strong".
