St Austell Bay Business Park, Par Moor Road, St Austell


 Builders are putting the finishing touches to 12 brand new industrial units on the established St Austell Bay Business Park. The units, all of which include electric roller shutter doors and CCTV security, range between 1,250 sq ft to 2,000 sq ft in size together with parking.

Developers, Dainton Storage, carried out comprehensive research into the needs of local companies before beginning construction. The company's Operations Director, Shaun Duncan, says "we are conscious of the economic climate in Cornwall so we canvased local businesses to ascertain what level of rent would be affordable, then worked back from there to calculate our budget for the build. The result is a development of high quality but affordable units".

 Knights Laundry Services' New UnitThere has already been a lot of interest in the site from more than a dozen companies ranging from a wholesale book seller to kitchen fitters. Knight Laundry Services are the first tenants to move into one of the new 1,800 sq foot units this week. Owners, June and Kim Knight, have been looking for suitable premises for their growing business for over a year, but found that everything they viewed were either too small, too big or dilapidated.

June says "This new unit with the large metal shutter front is perfect for the size of machinery we use, and to get our vans in and out. The central location of this business park means we can get easily to our clients all over the county."

The units are being offered by way of a flexible licence or fixed term leases at rentals starting from £6/sqft

The Famous Barrel, Penryn
