R M Developments Ltd is the lead company in a consortium of four building contractors (FourCornwall) and has been awarded more than £307,397 of ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) Convergence Investment towards building a new headquarters at United Downs, St Day.

In 2003 Simon and Vanessa Hendra bought the old run down market place off Lemon Street in Truro. Their vision was to develop something that would be "a credit to Truro and a business to be proud of".

Seasalt is one of Cornwall's success stories. In recent years the business has grown from a single shop in Penzance into a nationally recognised brand.
