Paul Collins presents Children's Hospice South West with a chequeLast week Paul Collins, organiser of Miller Commercial's Annual Charity Golf Day, presented Bernadette Thoreau of Children's Hospice South West with a share of the proceeds from this year's event.
Bernadette says, "whilst it is great news that the target for the Charity's Precious Lives Appeal has been met and the new Hospice building at Porthpean, St Austell completed, it should be remembered that it will cost the Charity in excess of £1.3 million a year to keep the hospice running".
Miller Commercial holds its Annual Charity Golf Day every August and this year the Company raised a total of £1,800 on the day for four chosen charities including the Merlin Project and Cornwall Air Ambulance.
