 Miller Commercial are pleased to report the sale of Coast, situated in the picturesque small harbour village of Mousehole in West Cornwall.  The established business was concerned with the sale of gifts, homewares and accessories and was made available with a new 9 year Internal Repairing and Insuring Lease.  The shop is extremely well presented and was purchased by a lady from the South East who was very much looking forward to making a new life in one of the most sought after parts of the County.  The business was sold of a guide of £49,950.

 Miller Commercial are pleased to report the sale of Sails Cafe situated in the harbourside village of Boscastle in North Cornwall. The business trades all year, with the exception of some time in the off season which comprises a 100 cover daytime cafe and takeaway, with an Alcohol Licence, complete with extensive 4 bedroom owners accommodation on the first and second floors and strong levels of trade and indeed profitability.

Bang and Olufsen come to Truro

 Miller Commercial is pleased to announce that Bang and Olufsen have returned to Truro after a five year absence.  They have secured a lease for the first and second floors of 26 Boscawen Street  above the Co-operative supermarket.    Marcus Reed, the Managing Director of Bang and Olufsen of Truro, is busy working on the project to transform the 2,500 Sqft of first floor space into a state of the art shopping experience.

 This is the second Lemon Street property sold by Miller Commercial this year. Sold with vacant possession off a guide price of £300,000, this represents a rate per square foot of in excess of £210.

Successful Letting of one of Truro's landmarks - albeit it is floating!

the boat 450Miller Commercial has successfully let the historic steamship the PS Compton Castle which is now over 100 years old. The Boat which has been moored alongside Lemon Quay since the mid 1980’s had been allowed to fall into disrepair and has been vacant for many years. The vessel was acquired and restored by local developer Porthia and will be re-fitted and utilised as a nautical themed café selling imported French coffee; “Café Richard”.


Brothers, Danny and Larry Watson have taken on the Lease and are confident that the prominent and busy location will prove to be highly successful. They anticipate opening during the Autumn.

A Quintessential Village Stores and Post Office attracts strong interest

 Miller Commercial are pleased to report the sale of Crantock Post Office and Stores, situated in the attractive and very sought after North Cornish coast village. The business was marketed in May 2014 and attracted three competing bidders, both from within and outside the County. The business comprises circa 1,000 sq ft of retail space, has a Post Office and in the summer months offers gifts and beach goods etc.
