Former Woolworths premises at Camborne let

On behalf of private clients, we are pleased to announce the letting of the former Woolworths store located at 24/26 Trelowarren Street, on Camborne’s main retail thoroughfare. The substantial premises provided 1,621sq.m. [17,450sq.ft.] split over ground and first floors. Adjacent traders included Superdrug, Iceland and Boots the Chemist.
Peter Heather, Partner, advises, “the property took a little longer than anticipated to let, following interest from a number of parties. Eventually, we agreed terms with Poundstretcher Ltd for them to occupy the property under a new 15-year F.R.I. lease, which had been on offer at £80,000 per annum”.
A spokesman for Poundstretcher Ltd comments, “We are pleased to report our new store is trading well above expectations and our company are delighted to be occupying such a central location within Camborne”.
