 We are pleased to confirm the completion of the sale of Hell's Mouth Café, situated on the north Cornish coast alongside the B3301 linking Gwithian and Portreath. The business stands just a few yards from the cliff top, where the dramatic rock formation below gives rise to the name 'Hell's Mouth'. The day time cafe is well presented and its location attracts passing tourists, cyclists and coastal footpath walkers.

A cafe business has stood on this site since the 1930s but the current premises were built in 2000 and it came to the market recently in a fine condition with a large car park. Hell's Mouth Cafe was able to demonstrate strong turnover in its trading figures and changed hands for the first time since 2007.

The sale was achieved by way of assignment of the present 12 year lease, commencing 2007, at a current passing rental of £8,500 per annum.

We acted on behalf of Mr & Mrs D Hales from St Ives, who were able to swiftly transfer ownership to Steve & Mrs Margaret Morris, who live locally and who had been seeking such a business for only a short time.

Hell's Mouth Cafe was marketed off a leasehold guide price of £95,000. The sale price was not disclosed.
