Hair stylist Adds New Colour to Events Square

"Square" Hair Salon, which opened recently in Falmouth, is located at one corner of Events Square, Discovery Quay.

The business' 10-year lease at Events Square was negotiated by Rob Redgrave in our commercial agency department and our Management Department manage the waterfront complex on behalf of the owners New Cornwall Developments.

Director of New Cornwall Developments Terry Barnes says "since its completion in 2007, Discovery Quay has become an attraction for people visiting Falmouth. All the retail units are fully let with good quality clients and there was a lot of interest shown in the office space, which again, is fully let. In fact, we have companies on a waiting list to move in should space become free".

The salon is a new business venture for experienced hair stylist and expert colourist Tilly Atherton and her business partner and fiancée Carl Hayes. Tilly says "as soon as we saw the unit we fell in love with the location straight away. We feel the salon will fit in beautifully with the other high-end independent retailers in the square".
