Miller Commercial has successfully let the historic steamship the PS Compton Castle which is now over 100 years old. The Boat which has been moored alongside Lemon Quay since the mid 1980’s had been allowed to fall into disrepair and has been vacant for many years. The vessel was acquired and restored by local developer Porthia and will be re-fitted and utilised as a nautical themed café selling imported French coffee; “Café Richard”.
Brothers, Danny and Larry Watson have taken on the Lease and are confident that the prominent and busy location will prove to be highly successful. They anticipate opening during the Autumn.
