Acting on behalf of W C Rowe (Falmouth) Ltd, we have negotiated a new lease of premises in the White River Shopping Complex in St Austell. This marks a substantial commitment by the company to St Austell, with the new store complimenting the bakery concession located within the town's Asda Supermarket. The new premises, which opened at the beginning of the month, stand in a prominent position at the front of the shopping centre overlooking Aylmer Square and include 47.4 sq m (510 sq ft) of accommodation.

Acting on behalf of the Methodist Church, we have sold the former Ruthernbridge Methodist Church & Sunday School. The premises were situated in an idyllic position within the hamlet of Ruthernbridge and close to the beautiful Camel Valley. They were last used as a chapel approximately 2 years ago.

We have recently completed the lettings of Unit 2 and Unit 6 at Goonhavern Garden Centre in the village of Goonhavern, between Newquay and Redruth. The units form part of the substantial garden centre, which stands adjacent to the busy A3075, and therefore attract good passing trade, especially during the summer months as tourists seek the nearby beaches of Newquay, Perranporth and Holywell Bay.

We are pleased to confirm the completion of the sale of Hell's Mouth Café, situated on the north Cornish coast alongside the B3301 linking Gwithian and Portreath. The business stands just a few yards from the cliff top, where the dramatic rock formation below gives rise to the name 'Hell's Mouth'. The day time cafe is well presented and its location attracts passing tourists, cyclists and coastal footpath walkers.

We have recently concluded the sale of the former Bodenes Restaurant at 36 Arwenack St in the centre of Falmouth. The new owners are David Trewin and Emily Rose. David has had considerable experience in the restaurant industry, having in the past held the position of head chef at two well known restaurants. The modern, attractive premises offered 40 covers at ground floor level, together with a lower ground floor providing a lounge and cocktail area.

Miller Commercial of Truro have recently completed the lettings of Units No.1 and No. 5 on Ponsharden Industrial Estate at Falmouth. The small industrial units each offered gross internal areas of 108.5 sq m (1,168 sq ft) and benefited from roller shutter doors. They were made available on new, proportional, F.R.I. leases.

Our office agency department have recently completed the letting of the 1st and 2nd floor offices within Trevint House, Strangways Terrace, Truro. The character premises offered a net internal area of 2,234 sq ft and were offered with the benefit of a new, proportional, full repairing and insuring lease off an annual rental of £28,000.

This centrally located ground floor shop, close to car parks, offered a retail area of 416 sq ft along with office of 111 sq ft kitchen and wc facilities. The premises benefited from a rear access and enjoyed good footfall in the busy part of the key West Cornwall commercial centre. The premises were marketed on a new full repairing and insuring lease off an asking rental of £11,250 per annum. The opportunity was taken up by Chan's Oriental Foods who are relocating from elsewhere in the town.

Seagulls Tearooms occupies a prominent trading position within the popular, harbour, tourist destination of Mevagissey. There has been a tea room/cafe at this address for very many years however, at the time of the transaction the business was not trading. The premises comprised a spacious café area providing approximately 58 covers, adjacent to which, was a servery counter and kitchen. To the rear of the property there was a further spacious commercial kitchen. The business was attractively presented following a refurbishment programme.

The sale has recently completed of the former Masters Newsagents, Town End, close to the town centre of Bodmin. The premises previously traded as a News Agents ∧ General Store, although more recently, once the business closed the building was offered with vacant possession. It provided a gross internal area of 548 sq ft with a 1-bedroom flat on the 1st floor. The premises also provided parking for 4 vehicles to the front.
