We have negotiated the deal to sell one of Cornwall’s newest business park developments just 8 weeks after its official opening.

The £2.76 million Treleigh Park project was bought by a group of private investors for an undisclosed sum.

The development consists of four flexible factory units totalling 2,806 square metres, each built to a BREEAM Excellent standard, making them among the greenest commercial buildings in Cornwall.

Local company, Gloveman Supplies Ltd are the first tenants at Treleigh after signing a 15-year lease for a 10,000 sq. ft. factory unit and Miller Commercial have received strong interest in the other units of 10,000 sq. ft. and 5,000 sq. ft.

Our Head of Agency, Mike Nightingale, who oversaw the deal, says “Treleigh Park is the first acquisition in the Duchy for this particular group of investors who have been looking to add Cornish commercial premises to their South West portfolio for some time. In this case they were impressed by the high quality of the investment.”

He added “. With the last Convergence Funding stream now ended and Convergence 2 yet to be implemented we’ll see a time lag where there will be a limited number of new schemes of this scale and quality coming to the market.”
