Perranporth Golf Club are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Franchisee to take on the Food and Beverage operations as part of their ongoing programme of development. The Club is open to members and non-members alike and affords tremendous scope for hosting functions owing to its large car park, spacious dining room / bar area and dramatic coastal location. Owing to the scale of the operation applications will only be considered from experienced Hospitality professionals.
The club has circa 600 members and attracts thousands of visiting golfers each year with the Club also benefitting from a fleet of on site Holiday Lodges and Static Caravans.
The Franchisee will be responsible for all of the day to day Bar & Catering operations at the Club as would be expected, to include but not limited to;-
1.Full Bar Service during agreed core bar opening hours.
2.Meals for Club members and non members at lunch times, some evenings and at weekends.
3.Meals for visiting societies and team matches.
4.Meals for clubhouse users on special occasions such as Club events, competitions, Annual Dinners and themed entertainment evenings.
5.Catering for private functions booked by a member or non-member in coordination with the requirements of the Club.
6.Closing up and security of the clubhouse at the end of each working day. The clubhouse is currently open every day except Christmas Day.
7.Ensuring Compliance with all appropriate regulations pertaining to a business of this nature.
The Franchisee will be self-employed and subject to certain reasonable constraints, and in liaison with the Club Secretary and Directors be free to conduct their business accordingly. They will be responsible for their own public Liability insurance and any employees must be employed by the Franchisee. They will be free to liaise with suppliers direct and to make such arrangements as they see fit in this regard including the choice of supplier for the Bar, they will not however be permitted to enter into any agreements that would see the Club “tied” such as Brewery Loans etc.
The Franchisee will be expected to produce a food menu with indicative prices in addition to a Bar price list for approval prior to the agreement being signed. The Franchisee will be obliged to offer a 10% discount for Club Members. In return the Club will actively promote the Franchisees business through it’s own website and via social media

An Inventory of all loose chattels and equipment, will be supplied by Miller Commercial prior to the completion of the Franchise agreement. All such goods and chattels will remain the property of Perranporth Golf Club the Franchisee will be required to repair/replace any items during their tenure.
Each party to bear their own legal costs in connection with the transaction and the incoming Franchisee will be required to lodge a Refundable Security Deposit of £5,000 with the Clubs Solicitors..
Business Rates & Utilities
The incoming Franchisee will be expected to contribute towards the Rates & Utility Bills incurred by the Club at a percentage to be agreed.
We understand that Perranporth Golf Club currently hold a premises licence in respect the sale of liquor for consumption on and off the premises. The Franchisee will be appointed as the Designated Premises Supervisor for the term of the agreement.

All the above prices/rentals are quoted exclusive of VAT, where applicable.
