The business operates in North Devon from its base in Pathfields Business Park, South Molton, which is situated on the outskirts of the town with easy access to the North Devon Link Road.
A modern two storey office building principally comprising sales area, offices and meeting rooms with a single storey building housing the walk in freezer, spare office/storage room. Private parking facilities. See Lease details under Tenure Section below.
The business has been in our client’s ownership since 2008 and is concerned with the delivery of frozen meals 5 days per week to a target customer base of c45,000, typically elderly customers.
We are advised Wiltshire Farm Foods (North Devon) has seen successive year on year sales growth and has been in and the top performing franchises in the Country.
The net turnover for the year end August 2018 show sales of £1.163 million, which is the basis of the valuation of the sale of the business as determined by the Franchise Agreement. Further Accounting information will be made available to interested parties subsequent to a meeting with our clients.
The Franchise Agreement is granted by the parent Company, apetito (based in Trowbridge) which is the principal production centre. Franchise Agreements are issued on a 7-year (renewable) basis and all applicants are subject to Due Diligence checks and approval. One franchisee per postcode area. The Agreement is not available for general release and can be discussed with our clients.
