We also have a highly experienced Facilities Manager who identifies, coordinates and oversees the implementation of property maintenance on behalf of our clients.

  • Nick Maffey Partner

    Nick’s experience and expertise in both the national and international property management sectors are invaluable to our ever increasing institutional and high net worth clients. That experience included managing the prestigious Berkeley Square Estate in Mayfair owned by the Abu Dhabi Royal Family. Nick has recently been involved in the significant organic growth of the firm, geographically pushing the firm eastwards to cover the SW. This has included securing significant instructions to manage a number of major SW industrial and office portfolios. He is a Director of our subsidiary company Listers Commercial Property Consultants. A keen surfer and Francophile Nick can often be found on his surfboard off the beaches of Newquay or drinking red wine with friends in the heart of Gascony.

  • Giles Barton Head of Property Management

    The highly experienced Giles Barton joined us in July 2021 in the role of Senior Commercial Property Manager and was promoted to Head of Property Management in 2023. Giles, who is originally from Penryn, has extensive experience in the commercial property management sector, including QinetiQ and Cushman & Wakefield (formerly DTZ), working with clients at all levels including the likes of British Airways, Royal Mail and G4S. Outside of work Giles likes to spend time with his wife and young daughter enjoying all that Cornwall has to offer.

  • Jane Perrin Property Manager

    Jane joined the Property Management team following a move to Cornwall from the Midlands where she had several years’ experience working as a sales and lettings administrator as well as working for the National Association of Estate Agents. Jane was promoted to Property Manager and her communication skills set her apart from the rest, from keeping everyone in the office laughing to dealing with all the difficulties a day in a property management department can bring, and all with a calm and reassuring approach. She is a very keen gardener and our resident gluten free baker!

  • Jacqui L'Heureux Commercial Property Manager

    We have recently added to our property management team with the appointment of Commercial Property Manager Jacqui L’Heureux. Jacqui brings 16 years of property management experience across a wide portfolio throughout Cornwall and Devon. This appointment is very timely as we are experiencing a significant surge in demand for our Property Management Services across the board from large shopping complexes to retail and business parks and industrial estates.

  • Julie Bell Facilities Manager

    Julie is our Facilities Manager within the Property Management Department. Previously she worked as a Facilities Officer for Cornwall Innovations Centres (part of the University of Plymouth) and was responsible for full compliance across all three sites in Cornwall. She is also experienced in dealing with all latent defects and landlord negotiations, health and safety, is IOSH qualified and is about to complete her NEBOSH qualification, maintenance management, PPM schedules and statutory inspections and services. Julie has 20 years' facilities management experience, including 14 of those working as an FM in Dublin, and has completed courses in everything from fire safety to COSHH, legionella and asbestos awareness to energy management, occupational first aid and incident investigation. She lives in Penryn with her husband and spends some of her downtime sea swimming, all year round!

  • Kerry Knight Business Support Assistant

    Kerry has recently joined us to provide support to the general business and in particular to Property Management and Commercial Agency. She brings an array of experience in various office administration, business support and Personal Assistant roles, including 13 years with Aviva, where she was an Underwriter with a successful Personal Lines Account and 16 years with Cornwall Council, during which time she was PA to several Senior Directors, including the OneCornwall Programme Director. Calm, professional and extremely organised, with excellent IT skills including advanced Excel, OCR CLAIT and the ECDL, she is also a qualified Certified Personal Trainer, Gym Instructor and Spin Class Instructor.

  • Louise Roberts Head of Accounts

    Louise relocated to Cornwall with her family in the Summer of 2006 and she joined Miller Commercial in October 2006, having previously been an Accountant for 15 years with Orbit Housing Association at their Coventry Head Office in the Midlands. Louise’s position within Miller Commercial is Head of Accounts and her main role is to do all aspects of the Company’s Financial Accounts and payroll management and administration. She is also the Property Accountant for our Property Management team and provides a treasury function for part of our Management portfolio. Louise enjoys spending time with her family, visiting National Trust houses and gardens around the country and doing craft work.

  • Claudia Phillips Accounts Assistant

    Claudia joined us at the beginning of 2024 and provides a full treasury/bookkeeping and accounts administration role for the Property Management Department and accounting support services to the firm. Outside of work Claudia enjoys photography, art and sailing with her husband when the Cornish weather permits.
