We also have a highly experienced Facilities Manager who identifies, coordinates and oversees the implementation of property maintenance on behalf of our clients.

  • Nick Maffey Partner

    Nick’s experience and expertise in both the national and international property management sectors are invaluable to our ever increasing institutional and high net worth clients. That experience included managing the prestigious Berkeley Square Estate in Mayfair owned by the Abu Dhabi Royal Family. Nick has recently been involved in the significant organic growth of the firm, geographically pushing the firm eastwards to cover the SW. This has included securing significant instructions to manage a number of major SW industrial and office portfolios. A keen surfer and Francophile Nick can often be found on his surfboard off the beaches of Newquay or drinking red wine with friends in the heart of Gascony.

  • Brian Botting Partner

    Brian is a Partner and a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors as well as a member of the Institute of Revenues, Rating and Valuation. He joined Miller Commercial in April 2003 but entered the profession in 1973, and over the intervening years he has cultivated an enormous amount of experience gained in London, Nottingham, Devon and Cornwall. He specialises in the assembly, acquisition and disposal of development sites, in addition to undertaking valuation, rent review and lease renewal work. Brian is responsible for the graduate training programme for the company and has helped more than a dozen graduates achieve Chartered status in the last 15 years.

    With experience working in property management in both the public and private sector in Southampton and London, law graduate Zoey is a recent addition to our property management team. With her legal background, Zoey helps bring a different dimension to the services that we offer our clients.

  • Jonny Bright Graduate Surveyor

    Jonny is the most recent member of the Miller Commercial team, joining the Property Management Department as a Graduate Surveyor. Primarily he will work alongside Partner and Senior Property Manager Brian Botting looking after a varied portfolio of shops, offices, industrial and residential property. With a degree in History & Politics from University of Winchester already under his belt, Jonny will start his MSc in Real Estate in September before sitting his APC in a couple of years which will make him a Chartered Surveyor. He has advanced IT skills in website design, database management, and many other types of software, and has worked as an IT and Facilities Assistant in London which included the final fit out of a Grade 1 listed building into office space. In his spare time Jonny loves running around the Cornish coast in training for the Eden Project Half Marathon, reading classic literature and gig rowing.

  • Stephen Peckham Senior Facilities Manager

    Stephen’s extensive career in facilities management helps Miller Commercial property management clients ensure they get best value from contractors and their properties’ mechanical and electrical systems. He has numerous qualifications including a BA Facilities Management degree from Sheffield Hallam. Before joining Miller Commercial Stephen worked as a FM/Estates Manager for eleven years for BBA PLC, Signature Flight Support, a London Luton Airport based firm servicing high end/VIP private jet arrivals and departures. He moved to Cornwall in early 2018 with his family and lives just outside Truro.

  • Louise Squires Facilities Manager

    Louise joined Miller Commercial in November 2018 to work alongside Stephen Peckham in the Facilities Team. Louise is an experienced Facilities Manager and has been in the profession for over 12 years. She is a Certified member of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management and has Level 3 Certificate in NEBOSH. Louise is passionate about delivering high quality service to her clients and has worked previously in London with Rio Tinto and CBRE and more recently in across Cornwall and Devon on the MOD Estates. Outside of work Louise enjoys being outdoors with her family especially in the water Kite surfing or surfing.

  • Louise Roberts Head of Accounts

    Louise relocated to Cornwall with her family in the Summer of 2006 and she joined Miller Commercial in October 2006, having previously been an Accountant for 15 years with Orbit Housing Association at their Coventry Head Office in the Midlands. Louise’s position within Miller Commercial is Head of Accounts and her main role is to do all aspects of the Company’s Financial Accounts and payroll management and administration. She is also the Property Accountant for our Property Management team and provides a treasury function for part of our Management portfolio. Louise enjoys spending time with her family, visiting National Trust houses and gardens around the country and doing craft work.

  • Woody Trainee Top Dog

    Woody joined the company at the end of 2016 as a trainee initially working on valuations and professional work and quickly established himself as a popular member of the team. He then moved to the Property Management Department and has integrated well into the role of general dogsbody but retains a puppyish enthusiasm for the work. He likes nothing better than being given a problem to get his teeth stuck into. Highly respected for his confidentiality Woody hopes to progress within the company in the forthcoming years and has his sights set on becoming Top Dog.
